Spring Cleaning and Planting Prep in our School Garden

16th Feb 2020

Great to see such enthusiasm among all the pupils who picked up litter, weeded planting beds and planted raspberries. Some of the pupils were involved in making a log pile in order to create a new habitat for mini beasts. Others made bird feeders from recycled plastic bottles to attract small native wild birds. Another group of children made a bee ? bath and a bird bath. Congrats to the pupils and teachers and thank you to Joanne one of our active parents and also a member of Carlingford Tidy Towns Committee, for her organisation, support and guidance! The pupils really loved getting out to our outside classroom.
