2nd and 3rd Class had a great day learning about the history of their own town, Carlingford. A big thank you to the Heritage Centre. To Megan, Caitríona, Síle and Patricia. We began looking at our drawing of local historical building on display. We were then shown a painting explaining what Carlingford looked like in Medieval times. After that, we had a picnic on the green. We were then treated to a fantastic tour of King John’s Castle, The Abbey and Thostel street. Then on to having fun and free play with a few treats!
